- We believe that both the Old Testament and the New Testament constitute the Divine inspired Word of God, inerrant in the originals (II Tim 3:16; II Pet 1:21).
- We believe in One God existing in three persons eternally:Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matt 28:19-20; II Cor 13:14).
- We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, became man without ceasing to be God, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful men (Phil 2:4-10; Jn 1:14; I Tim 1:17).
- We believe that the Holy Spirit came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment; and to regenerate, sanctify, comfort and seal those who believe in Jesus Christ; and to empower them to use spiritual gifts for the carrying out of the work of the Lord Jesus Christ (Jn 15:26; Jn 16:7-8; Jn 16:13-14; Eph 1:13; Eph 4:11-13).
- We believe that man is totally depraved in that of himself he is utterly unable to redeem his lost condition (Rom 3:23; Jer17:9; Ps 51:5).
- We believe that man’s salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose atoning blood was shed on the cross for the forgiveness of sins (Eph 2:8-9).
- We believe in the Baptism by water of believers, symbolizing the believers’ union in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Rom 6:1-4).
- We believe in the observance of the Lord’s Supper, commemorating the sacrifice of our Saviourfor all mankind, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (I Cor 11:23-26).
- We believe that the life of the believer is to be separated from worldliness by consistent conduct before God and man andis to be in the world as life-giving light (Matt 5:16; I Jn 2:15-16).
- We believe in the personal, visible, bodily and imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ and that His second advent is essential to the fulfillment of God’s plan for all ages (Acts 1:11; Jn 14:2-3; I Thess4:15-18).
